Well...
It is a long time ago, but I missed transaction, Referential Integrity, and stability, DBF (or paradox files) tend to corrupt once in a week if you are lucky ! :)
But I worked with it a lot of years, it was all that I had access (no pun intended). But I can't imagine working with DBF files anymore....

What definition of relational databases do you hold? I have had the "pleasure" of working with access, and with FoxPro (which used the dbase file format) and both pretty much conform to what I expect a relational database to do at a minimum.
