Maybe it's better deal the $30USD version with integrated Ethernet for a small server

ps: interbase had a long jorney from an Apollo 320 workstation to a 30$ machine

Why bother, spend another $30USD and get a better model which has on-board Ethernet and faster CPU.

The original post was ... poorly thought through... there are far more effective offerings available if someone wants to build out an inexpensive database server.  IMO, this thread/subject is a waste of bytes/bandwidth.
