Well, there's Oracle "lite" (Oracle XE) if you really want it. It's
based on Oracle 11g and has a few limitations such as one CPU, only 5G
of non-system tablespaces etc but is available for Windows and Linux and
has no licence restrictions as such. You can use it free, personally or
commercially or whatever. No support, other than through the forums.
