Are you sure you wanna to compare "final" with snapshots releases? For
end user, final means the product passed in the QA tests and is
supposed to be stable, ready to be used in production, with release
notes, etc.

Snapshot are just what they are: daily releases that probably fixed
some issues and maybe introduced new ones or even some regressions
(since full QA is not ran against them).
