End users wanting FB for whatever strange reason won't check anything, of
course. I think end users concerned about FB are the minority. App devs
really mad about the SW they ship together with their applications and that
they think it's dying, will go to check if they have such important doubt.

Ir's more useful to post the most recent activity in the ChangeLog. It lists
files, not commits. I've always thought our main page should include the
last 50 lines from the ChangeLog or a prominent link to the last 200.
