I guess you are talking about the International Conference, right? If
so, the matter of having (or not having) it depends on people that
would offer themselves to organize it in some city with a good
infrastructure and, believe me, this is a lot of work.

For now, afaik, nobody seems to have raised his hand for the job. But,
as we are in February, there is still time, and I hope someone will
appear in the meanwhile.

PS: BTW, I can tell you that Brazil will have its Firebird Developers
Day (6th edition).
