Quite agreed. But given that this takes HUGE amounts of time (think
thousands of hours, not hundreds), and we depend entirely on volunteers,
progress in this area is very slow. Actually the language ref is one
of our stronger areas, because we have complete update references for
Firebird 1.0 through 2.1, so you "only" need two documents here: the
IB6 LangRef and the Firebird LangRefUpd for your version. A complete
Firebird Language Reference should not be expected within a year, unless
more volunteers start contributing.
