of the Foundation or contribute money in other ways.
Heck, why do I buy chocolate sweets for Euro 35 or so?
We already pay advertising fees to other organisations
Have you seen the prices of tools for Firebird? Seriously, it's a joke! All
the
tools for Firebird are dead-cheap or free, despite the fact that these tools
save the users countless hours of time (and as we know, time is the real
cost in software development).
And you want to drain our financials even more?
It's not the tool providers that you should be going after, you should
target
the companies that use Firebird to undercut prices compared to other
companies when it comes to creating products that need a database. They
select Firebird because of it's lack of a license fee, they make the most
money
of (using) Firebird, not the tool vendors.
Righto, that's my Friday rant for today.
