Download the release notes (just follow the link on the Firebirdsql.org
front page and scroll to the bottom of the download page). They include
detailed explanations of what's new. And there's a LOT of good stuff in
there.) If you can take advantage of the new features (or have databases
that will benefit from the improved indexing logic, which in some cases
results in significant speed improvements), then you should switch. If
stability is more important than features, you should stay on 1.5.3, at
least until 2.0.1 is released.

Im currently using Firebird 1.53 and is stable,fast and reliable, I
need to know why should I use Firebird 2.0? what's new? is more
stable? faster?

What are he reasons someone like me should switch?
