Andrew,
You misunderstood Martijn's tip. Go to the group's home page, log in
if it doesn't have you logged in already, and adjust your settings
under "Edit membership" to "Traditional". Then you won't even get
the stuff you posted here.

We (Moderators) can't do this for you - it is a setting in your own
membership account for this list and only you have access to it.
