Oh yes. Sorry if my last email send some wrong impression on this subject.
Here is how it works:
On Fb-Connect I'm here to provide the necessary assistance for anyone
who want to help. I don' t need "personally" to like the idea! :-)
As long as there are someone willing to get something useful done, I
will try to provide him the necessary assistance in order to make sure
is work will be done with the main consensus of the project/ff, it will
fit inside the project, have the necessary support from the project/ff,
etc, etc, etc, etc.

Sometimes people just don't start it just because they don't know how to
do it, and it's easy for me to establish this initial bridge. Other
times, could be some other people working already on something similar,
so it will be easy for me to link them to join efforts.

So, I'm here to help you: If you have a good project, and time to
dedicate to it, just feel free to ask me for support, and I will do my
best to assist you!

[ again about this:

i like their ideea not the page look ;)

In our days, you need also to have a nice look in any idea. Steve Jobs
can give some good examples. :-))
I like the idea too, but with that look I'm sure that a) they will not
get many people getting back there to see results; and b) they will have
a lot of people on there general-list to complain about "why is is so
ugly?" :-))

Well, to be really honest, it's REALLY difficult even with a contest or
just a "call for volunteers".
We need help on this exactly stage: we have the "Firebird White Paper"
already in a final stage, and we need a graphic artist to jump in to
make it more appeal, with a "professional" look.
I ask for help on the lists, and more than 30 volunteers appear. When I
actually send the work that needs to be done - illustrate a 8 page
document - they all vanish...
So, I'm still looking around for one option: a volunteer to do it,
someone to sponsor this work, or any other way.

Not easy at all. Persons that use Firebird are mainly developers, not
graphical artists. And for sure we can use one, in many things, not only
the white paper.

If any of you know someone that can help on this, it will be REALLY
appreciated. I'm quite sure that somewhere in the world we will find an
artist that could help, and on this case we have some return to give
him/her: working on this can give him some visibility all around the
world - for sure the Firebird White Paper will be used by millions of
companies worldwide. I think it will be fit nice on any "art-designer"
professional curriculum. :-))
