Glebas,
"Competition" is not just about money.
In Firebird, or any other IT business, competition is much more about
features (what problems does the software solve and how) and community
users (how many persons use it and how deep they are involved/there
business depends on the product).
If you win this competition - even being an open competition with
nothing to hide - you increment the community users. Who is the person
that will not put his resources on something that his business depends ?
And so on. That's the beautiful in Free Open Source software. :-)
On our days, this is a crucial situation.
