The Firebird Project does not require an embellished logo, thank you.
We have a logo that serves us well, is simple, uncluttered and
distinctive, and looks great on a t-shirt. :-)

What we did need - and now have, thanks to the same Stefan Heyman, was
fresh rendering of our logo. The improved images are available for
both viewing and download at
http://www.firebirdsql.org/index.php?id=firebird-logo. We do ask that
you don't all try to download the enhanced Windows metafile version
all at once! :-)

Stefan has also improved the bitmap image that is used for the Windows
installer builds. It will appear in CVS in the next day or so.
