I did read it when Thomas posted it, and found it very interesting.
And, I just re-read it again just to see if I missed something the
first time I read it. And, I did miss something, Thomas's name is on
this document.

The Firebird team seems to be on the right track with FB 2.0 and
the future FB 3.0.

And, I have to say, hats off to Thomas and his colleagues for this
document.
