Hi Steve,
argument does not exist anymore.
One could even say that PostgreSQL's installer is better than the
Firebird one, as it allows you to specify a user account to which the
PostgreSQL service is bound. With Firebird, you have to do this
manually in order to try to secure your installation.

I am using Firebird anyway ;-)
But currently examining it, I have to admit that PostgreSQL is quite a
nice database, too.
