Well, you need the support list. This list is for general, non-technical
topics. If you're in the process of deciding to take the route of swinging
over to Firebird (Fb 1.5) I recommend that you avail yourself of the
firebird-support list and address your specific technical doubts there, one
by one. A problem clearly and accurately described is a problem at least
half-understood...

As I commented to a colleague in private, "I hate to diss a
compatriot.." I'm happy to know that my colleague contacted you and
offered assistance in what appears to be a rather awful hole that you have
