OK, so the article does depict what I thought which is firebird is
fast. But i'm skeptical that is is that much faster especially when
parallel threads are run. Firebird seems completely unfased that the
load has increased from 1 to 20 users, unlike the other DB's who do
slow down.

It would be intresting to see any other tests like these with the
latest versions of the DB.
