No! Not at all. Martijn asked a hypothetical question - "If you were a
MySQL user, why would you switch to Firebird?" And I should have
responded in the subjunctive: "If I were a MySQL user and were to
decide to commercialize my project and sell into a price sensitive
market, I would switch to Firebird in a heartbeat."

Never fear, I've been following Firebird around for more than 20 years
and I'm not about to stop.
