Actually no. In 1984 the product was Epic, the language
that became GDML was Epilogue, and the other tools had
similar names. A trademark search later it became
gds/Galaxy, which explains some of the obscure constellation
names (e.g. pixus). A very temporary CEO caused the name
to change to InterBase in 1986.
