I successfully use UTF16BE and UCA sorting via fbintl2.dll
and it works good enough for me.

But having miserably failed in attempting to dive into
the engine's code, and taking into account that most
collation/charsets issues raised in firebird-devel get
next to no response, -yes- there is still something to
be done.
