OK heres a conclusive answer, (I maintain the HP-UX build and have
just finished porting FB1.03 to HP 10.20). Have yet to even start on
1.5....

The core development platforms for the FB Developers are Windows and
Linux, thats why you see new releases for these platforms typically
in advance of any others... All other platforms are technically ports
and we rely on the expertise of a number of voluntary platform maintainers
to do these ports once a code base has stabilsed for a particular release.
These maintainers are volunteers who do it because they want to, we can't
make them...

If you need a particular port for a particular platform, ask on the
firebird-devel list, talk to the port maintainer, or give it a try
yourself... The firebird project isn't huge, and we do rely on help,
especially in this area...
