The definition of the Firebird General List is as per the firebird web site:
General forum for discussing issues of open source, documentation,
impact on current and future development and support, etc.

The older definition of the list on IBPhoenix is:
Originally the InterBase Developer Initiative forum.
Used for discussing general issues of Firebird, InterBase and
Open Source. Note: this is a non-technical list.

If discussing a possible application based on Firebird is off topic
on this list (probably the most generic list we have) then I am
somewhat surprised.
