Since posting the original tongue in cheek comment, I've
been sorting out the mess that Mozilla actually makes of
storing the messages. I've 1.8Gb of stuff, which I can only
read via Mozilla. Moving it all from Netscape was a
nightmare and I lost stuff on the way, so is managing it in
Firebird such a silly idea - I ask myself.

Of cause time to do anything is another matter, but the
source of the mozilla mail stuff is 'available' .....
