That is the first time that it has been but in those words.
ALL the perhaps misguided comments have been to the effect
that Firebird is to be more than that - did you notice the
TM's on Ben Goodger's site, and the way the forum and help
pages for your Firebird come up suggest that as well.
Personally I still see a conflict. You are probably right, I
can probably laugh it off at meetings, but I should not have
to, and I have one hell of a lot of time and money invested
in this. So it hit like a sledgehammer...
The last time I felt like that was when Borland announced
the killing of Interbase. I'd just spent 3 years moving
everthing onto it and getting it working!

If it is only an internal name why does it matter what it
is. Browser2 would be fine if eventually the name is going
to be dropped. That is what you are now saying isn't it?
