Normally to move from one platform to another, the Board require a cost
benefit from the proposer. What has the manager put forward as the benefit
over the cost of conversion and the risks involved in recoding, retesting
etc etc.
I don't think that you will find anything specific on FB->DB2 and anyway
you'll have to be specific to what are your major criteria?
Support?
Skills?
TCO?
Durability of filesystem?
portability?
Application?
It's a bit like: Which is a faster DB, TClientDatasets or IB, the answer is
both, depends on what you want.
