use disk based encryption so that, in the event that someone were to
steal my computer, they would not be able to access interesting data.
This is particularly important on my laptop.
I do believe that something like ibeproxy is a better solution than
trying to build such encryption directly into IB/FB. My own
preference (if I ever needed network encryption) would be their more
generic product eproxy, although how it compares to IPSec based
solutions (eg: PGPNet) I do not know.
