Subject Re: [IBDI] OK to offer FB build 821 for download?

Hi Paul B. / Paul R.,

first thanx for both replies, and i personally think it would be
great to have the 821 build publically available on sourceforge.
(i found it (821) to work 100% for me - at least those parts of it
i tested... this can't be taken as a general approval, of course.)

However, my initial question is still open: can i (or anyone else)
offer the binaries on my/their site for download? I am very uncertain
with this as it tackles legal issues that i don't understand a *word* of,
esp. when it comes to IPL (or GPL (or MPL (or any other text written
in an englich "slang" that seems to require far more than a general
understanding of the English language ;-) - my impression is that even
the majority of native English speakers doesn't really get what it's
all about <bg>) ...oh wait - one more brace to close here :)

The background is that i would like to offer an alternative download
site in Europe, which was my main intention for making www.fingerbird.de
in the first place. (or is there one already i'm not aware of?)

No need to convince *me* of that, remember :-) - and in the long run,
i'm sure we'll convince most other FB users, too. The CD is just plain
simple worth every single cent, may it be EUR or $$s...

tia & regards,
