My guess at least until Firebird 2.0, but I think there are some keywords
that are not recognized in the IBX parser. Borland did state that they are
not interested in supporting Firebird in IBX. My suggestion is switch now
to another component suite, before it's too late(I wouldn't be able to tell
you when "too late" will be, though).

We use IBO for almost 2 years now and we are not disappointed. IBX started
out with the same base code as FIB Plus. FIB Plus seems to be a good
product. But it's hard to look elsewhere once you get used to IBO, because
it's so feature rich and I find it easy to develop with it. And, I haven't
tapped into all of the features yet, but gradually I'm starting to learn
them, when I can use them in projects.

Hope this gives you some food for thought.
