It's not an either/or situation here. IBO is perfect for that.

Use the TDataset based BDE emulation components. It is standard Delphi Data
Acess/Controls oriented and it will do all that they are used to with
TTable. Especially IBO version 4 which will be released by the time this is
off the ground.

I also have special utilities for converting PDOX databases to InterBase.
All of which doesn't require the Enterprise version of Delphi.

Plus, anyone who licenses IBO is directly supporting the IBDH and other IBDI
initiatives. It's a win-win for everyone.
