There has been a huge amount of talk re. the Firebird website, but (and
maybe I missed it), no-one has actually stated how grateful - any of us
are - for the work and effort that Pavel has put in to creating and
maintaining the Firebird site.

Knowing all to well, how much time and effort this can be (cf. IBPhoenix), I
want to make sure that before Markus dismisses Pavel (on this list) out of
hand just because Pavel (quite sensibly) wants to move to a list dedicated
to this topic.

That all of you know where a significant amount of (unpaid) firebird website
related time and effort has come from.
