I understand. However, the points I raise are not for a discussion
amongst webmasters. Being webmaster is an administrative job. The
Firebird active members decide what kind of website they want and how
they are going to organize themselves to make it happen, and the
webmaster is the one who puts this into practice.

I am currently talking about the first part: What type of site and
how to organize. All the active members are concerned and I think the
IBDI list is the right place for this.

The website is an active topic at the moment. So it takes an
important place in the IBDI list for a little while. I think that's
ok. There were far more postings about the logo than about the
website so far. So we could have created a logo discussion list to
keep the IBDI list free... but free for what? This are topics of
interest for everyone who wants to know what's going on at Firebird.
So I guess it's welcome here. Every topic is specific. The
particularity of this one isn't that it's specific, it's that it's of
high practical importance for the future presentation of Firebird on
the web. So some discussion about this should be welcome, I think.

Move where ever you want. But when you are asked a question in one
list, currently in this IBDI list, I suggest you also write your
answer in that same list?
