A quick answer here but if you have any further questions, please take them to the ib-support list ( http://www.yahoogroups.com/group/ib-support ). This is NOT a support list.

dd.mm.yyyy is the translation of a DATE type. dd.mm.yyyy hh:mm:ss is the translation of a TIMESTAMP type. Both types are stored as doubles, so what you are seeing in the output here are literal translations. InterBase has several literal translation formats available. Perhaps you need to find an export tool that gives you a choice of formats so you can pick one that Oracle understands.
