OK, the challenge is up. Greg Deatz has sent me his paper, "Writing UDFs
for InterBase". He assures me it is *not* definitive but is a good
start. :)) Any IB or ex-IB (or other) engineers who have contributed to
the development of UDF handling in past times are cordially invited to
augment Greg's paper in any way they consider useful - a concerted
community effort towards the desired DTR.

For me, UDFs are one of IB's greatest strengths. Let's exploit it!

I'll post a link as soon as Greg's paper is posted on the IB2K site.
