Robert,
A couple of comments about using the newsgroup approach
1) Not everyone has access to newsgroups, a growing number of
organizations are disabling newsgroups via their firewalls.
2) Newsgroup postings, eventually, are removed from the server and
therefore are lost. I think this is the type of thing that deserves a
more permanent repository.

specific to a Borland component, the Borland NG news group would be more
likely to be found by those interested.
