I, for one, am a little tired of this trend from Borland: in the case of the
Starky driver, the EasySoft ODBC driver, and IBX, Borland is seemingly
ignoring the valiant efforts of individuals who are improving their
products. While they probably have no explicit commitment to the developers
due to the various and convoluted manner in which we arrived at our present
place, IMO Borland clearly has a moral obligation to settle these issues in
a fair and timely manner.
I find it hard to believe that a company with well in excess of $US 200M in
liquid assets would cast aside so much good will, for what amounts to pocket
change.
