This list is mainly to provide a central place for organizing the IB
developer community. When general issues appear regarding the future of
Interbase this is where we discuss them. Occationally other things get
mixed in, of course.
The thread regarding the published articles that Helen was involved in
relates to the publicity that IB was receiving. Because it has direct
effect on the product and its future I think it was entirely appropriate
for this list. The messages I think you saw were just expressing the fact
that people were getting tired of the tirades.
I intent to spend two full days this weekend working on the Interbase FAQ
and get the first draft published by the 17th. I'll definitely have a
summary of mailing list venues included in that.
