localhost:d:\path\path\something.gdb is the correct way. It also works
fine.
As for my 10054 error, I have duplicated it as follows:
App has a mutex to detect if another instance running. Also had
codeguard enabled.
When I shut down app and restarted before codguard had posted messages
about AV (IBSQLMonitor),
seems that this is where the 10054 errors came from. Hopefully.
