A beta is a beta - it works mostly fine, with the remaining known bugs
fixed in the full release.
And of course it has a timeout licence.

Why not develop using the Beta of IB 6 and replace with the full
(licence-free) release when it comes?
It should not be too long now.

You're not allowed to deploy a Beta but you're perfectly OK to develop with
it...
