I've got about 4 pages of notes, Im going to have a bit of a rest then I'll
type them up and send them.

Also having gone through this I was thinking of putting in the configure
option that was talked about, at least for linux.

Most of the problems are setup/config type things , otherwise the compile
turns out to be relatively simple.
