It is my hope that Ann Harrison and Jim Starkey will someday be once again
involved with the development of Interbase. I believe that they could really
"take it to the next level".

Regarding Inprise's newest position, it truly makes me sad. They have not been
able to get Interbase into the limelight and now that a small capable group is
excited about doing so, they dash their hopes. I can only hope that things will
work out. This is truly shameful.

If "forking" the product is possible, then why not name it "Phoenix"?? Seems like
an appropriate name to me.
