days, or some weeks ? Put another way : do you expect this before June 30,
or only somewhere "within July", or later ?
There is no real hurry. But it would help a little some marketing and
distribution planning here by having a close estimate. We are about to
release a new version of one our applications that will make use of IB 6.
Taking into account that we will need to make some regression tests with the
final IB 6 code before shipping our app with it, your best estimate will
allow us to approximate our own best estimate. And that will allow me to put
those impatient commercial people (here) to rest and calm down ! That would
just give me a break from them ! If you see what I mean. :-)
At least knowing the source tree is ready and the binary kits done, is
giving confidence, that despite any legal paperwork to still be done, you're
close to open-source release !
By the way, what will be the exact name (and coordinates, postal address,
and so on) of "Interbase" (the company) ?
