Helen,
I browse often, like all of us and no other site requires from me to
maximize the browser window so I can view the whole page at once.
About the whitespace - that is what the '<table width="100%">' is for. Fix
the width of the first column and the second will fill up the rest space.
No whitespace and no need to scroll horizontally. I personally prefer to
scroll in two directions only - up and down.
What we need is a simple functional site. Take a look at www.apache.org
for example. Even www.interbase.com is simpler, yet funcional.
If you an the others there don't have time to work on the site, fine.
Information is there and whoever wants to find it will find it one way or
another. I just wanted to share my thoughts.
I am ready to volunteer my spare time for this site if there is such need.
You can reach me at <damyan at creditreform dot bg> if necessary.
thank you for your time,
