InterBase will become a royalty free product in its basic state. But, there
may be other enhancements for VAR's such as special features to assist them
in mass distributing and managing their own licensing schemes through the
InterBase Server itself. These enhanced options will come at a price. As
will the support... (None of what I said above is official, just what I
think is being considered.)
