The link to the current binaries is (temporarily) broken at sourceforge.
Something went wrong with the latest upload.
I'm trying to get it fixed.

But ftp://firebird.sourceforge.net/pub/firebird
should work.
They are heavily updating their hard and software at sourceforge,
so there may be some inconveniences more to come :-(
But hopefully downloads and connects will be a bit faster afterwards.
