What I've seen on the Interbase for Linux download
page are rpm packages and tar files, for both
superserver and classic architecture. Tar files should
be OK for any Linux, requires glic 2.1 so Potato is
OK. I've successfully installed from tar files on
Corel Linux 1.2. In theory rpm package should suit
Corel as well, but I haven't tried.
Superserver version installs Interbase in
/usr/local/Interbase and classic in /opt/Interbase, it
was a little bit confusing when I changed my mind from
superserver to classic.
Cheers
Kris
