http://www.opengroup.org/public/tech/datam/sql.htm
is a paper by Jim Melton (co-author of "Understanding the New SQL: A
Complete Guide") which is a general document on SQL-89, SQL-92 and the
proposed SQL-3.

http://csrc.nist.gov/nistpubs/800-7/ is a massive white paper edited by
John Barkley, published the NIST originally in 1994, entitled "Security in
Open Systems". There is a topic there
(http://csrc.nist.gov/nistpubs/800-7/node100.html) which has links to the
actual standards.
