The problem with wire transfers is that there are two fees charged. Once
for the sending bank and once for the receiving bank. Fees in the US for
receiving a wire transfer range from $5 to $15 but I have seen some
international fees for sending a wire transfer as high as $20 to $25.

Another option is to set up a true company and get a merchant account to
take credit cards. The fees for credit cards are fairly small and most
people have one or at least have access to one.
