Oralce has one and I think sybase has one. it already has been done. the question is: how hard is it to do with IB? again it would be a **HUGE** selling point (to corp world) if IB had this.

I don't know much about the Palm OS but I don't think is has enough characteristics of a real OS to make this feasible. I don't think it multi-tasks pre-emptively, for example.
Palm machines are really, really slow compared to PCs. That would also be a big problem.
An Interbase API for the Palm would be a big win, though, even a limited one! Making it easy for Palm developers to access remote Interbase databases would really rock! The Palm VII would be great for this!
