Well, Bruce is OK, and all that, but, as you know, ESR is also trying to get
a grasp of IB. We'd think twice so we don't find IB in a crossfire, knowing
how much Bruce and Eric love each other. Probably, third party, totally
unconcerned about OSS contradictions would be a safer choice?
Also, I would second your request on funding sources. I understand that not
everything can be revealed right now, but as long as this is a closed list, I
assume that only trusted persons are intvited. Certainly, regardless of list
status, plain email is not a good medium for insider information. Maybe, the
first thing we are to work out is encryption and authentication scheme.
However it is, I won't insist on total disclosure. Suppressing my Slavic
distrust requires some efforts, but that's OK so far :) After all, people are
obviously constrained with promises they gave to probable investors, so
pushing it hard could break the whole thing at the very beginning.
Oh, that was a long blurb of mine, here comes the short one, as a refrain of
your question: what must be done right now?
