this is exactly what I don't want us to do - reinventing the wheel.

As for my proposition:
a) the forum I mentioned (once again,
http://acs.lavsa.com/bboard/q-and-a.tcl?topic=InterBase) is based on an IB
port of ArsDigita Community System. One of the things that system does, and
does nicely is handling Web-based forum discussions
b) The aforementioned forum is up and running for quite a while and it *is*
dedicated to InterBase, though not IBDI. As a matter of fact, I got to IBDI
site by reading Sebastian's message.
c) Sebastian is a great IB developer (check out his AOLServer IB driver, ACS
port, etc).

Now the forum you suggested had a one mailto: link which assumes someone on
the receiving end has to read the messages, filter them and post the
relevant stuff. I think the automated system already in place is much
better.
